Cheese! Me when I was less than one year old (May 1970). This is my all-time favorite picture.
My sister Holly and me (I'm the one on the left), Halloween 1978. My mother made our costumes. I still have mine. It is such a great costume idea - very original. My favorite Halloween costume ever. Halloween beauties
Niagara in Winter This picture was taken by my friend Sascha when he visited me in Dec. 1994-Jan. 1995. We took a day trip to the Niagara Falls and ended up in the middle of a snowstorm - and with a dead battery in the middle lane of the highway. Quite a memorable trip.
I then visited him in Arizona for my Spring Break, and his mother took this awesome picture at the Grand Canyon. My Mom hates looking at this picture. Look out below!
My sister Holly & me This photo of my sister Holly and me was taken in Bad Münstereifel (in the Eifel region) during her visit in February 1996.
Some of my friends from Bonn. We went camping in Holland for my birthday in 1996. Clockwise from the back: Olaf, Herry, me, Thomas (we call him Domo), Jaschie and Sonny. Wow, how things have changed.... Life sure does have surprises in store for all of us... The Gang on the coast of Holland
Having a ball in the Quiet Man Some of my friends at the Quiet Man - my favorite Irish pub in Bonn. You can often find me here. We used to meet here every Thursday. I still like to go here though, although I have been spending more time this year at the places near to my apartment. This picture was taken at my birthday party in 1996.
Karneval is a fun time of year. Cold as all get-out, but no one notices because they're all pretty inebriated! Prost! Prost!
Celebrating my last Karneval with the gang before moving back to the U.S. in 2001. (Pictured here: Nicole, Christian and me)

Swimming in the underground river at Xcaret, an ecological park in Mexico during my trip to Cancun in 2005. I also went snorkeling, snuba diving, and swimming in a cenote (a deep, freshwater, underground swimming lagoon in the jungle).
